			Award of Landscape Merit < Burma Ruby

The A.P.S. has a new award that began in 2008. The "Award of Landscape Merit" (A.L.M.) will be given to those peonies (old and new) which have certain desirable characteristics. The plants must be self-supporting while in flower, they must do well in all regions of the country and they must have lower maintenance requirements in general. The A.L.M. has been created to recognize those peonies that fill a broader range of needs and to build a wider appreciation of peonies in modern landscape design. Twenty nine peonies have been selected for the "Award of Landscape Merit 2009".

A turquoise star indicates those "Award of Landscape Merit" that will be on display at our 2011 Peony Show.

A red star indicates those "Award of Landscape Merit" that will be available at our 2012 Peony Show.
